Internationally Recognised Physiotherapist & Researcher
Professor Lisa Harvey is an internationally recognised physiotherapist and researcher in spinal cord injury rehabilitation. With 20 years of clinical experience and over 25 years in academia, her work focuses on building a strong evidence base for physiotherapy interventions.
In recognition of her decades-long contribution to the field, Lisa was recently awarded the Gold Medal by the International Spinal Cord Society, the Society's highest honour, acknowledging her global leadership in spinal cord injury care, education, and research.
At the upcoming ISCoS Annual Scientific Meeting, she will present findings from the SCI-MT Trial and discuss its potential to reshape early rehabilitation practices for people with SCI.

The 64th International Spinal Cord Society (ISCoS) Annual Scientific Meeting (ISCoS 2025), combined with the 19th Nordic Spinal Cord Society (NoSCoS) Biennial Scientific Meeting, has been approved by the Federation of the Royal Colleges of Physicians of the United Kingdom for 15 category 1 (external) CPD credit(s).
