The PVA Healthcare Summit + Expo is the annual clinical meeting of Paralyzed Veterans of America (PVA), and its subject is the daily care of people living with spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D), multiple sclerosis (MS), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The 2026 meeting is the fourteenth, and it takes place August 30 to September 2 at the Horseshoe Las Vegas.
PVA publishes the Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine clinical practice guidelines, the documents clinicians reach for on autonomic dysreflexia, bladder management, pressure injury prevention, and early acute care. PVA Summit is where the people who apply those guidelines meet the people who write and study them. The 2026 program carries five plenary sessions and 57 breakout sessions across three and a half days, with roughly 800 attendees and more than 100 speakers.
PVA is a Cornerstone Foundation Partner of the North American Spinal Cord Injury Consortium (NASCIC), and this meeting reaches an audience NASCIC serves directly. Physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, and researchers attend as full care teams rather than as single disciplines, which is the model PVA builds the program around.
Each full conference day opens with a general session for the whole audience before the program divides into tracks.
Track sessions on care practices for SCI/D, MS, and ALS, scheduled from mid morning through late afternoon on August 31 and September 1.
More than 100 agencies and exhibitors, with hall hours on August 31 and September 1 and an opening night during the Welcome Reception.
Poster viewing follows the track sessions on both main days, including a cocktail hour on September 1, alongside more than 20 ePoster sessions.

The Consortium for Spinal Cord Medicine guidelines are published by PVA and available at no cost. They sit behind much of what the program covers, and they are worth reading before sessions.
Abstract submissions for 2026 closed and speakers were notified in March. Accepted work appears in the podium program and in the poster and ePoster sessions.

Sessions, the Expo hall, and the conference guest rooms are all at the Horseshoe, on the Las Vegas Strip, so attendees stay in one building for the meeting.
