NASCIC (North American Spinal Cord Injury Consortium) is closing one of the biggest gaps facing the spinal cord injury (SCI) community. In a needs survey of the SCI community, 83% of people reported difficulty finding trustworthy health information. The SCI-Powered Network is NASCIC's answer, a community-led framework that vets and shares health information validated by people who live with SCI.
This Q2 SCI Connections webinar presents the Part I findings of the SCI-Powered Network, built through a 448-respondent needs survey, with 80% of respondents living with SCI, and a 20-organization working group. It shows how the framework fits together and how members, partner organizations, and industry can join Part II.
